Quick setup

Install InfusionFox on your phone

InfusionFox is a website, not an app, but you can save it to your home screen so it opens like one. No App Store, no install, no updates to manage.

Why bother

  • One tap to open instead of typing the URL or hunting in your browser.
  • Opens full-screen without browser chrome; more room for the patient sheet.
  • Shows the InfusionFox icon in your app switcher.
  • Works offline for pages you've recently visited (most calculators and reference hubs).
  • Free, with no data collection or push notifications.

On iPhone (Safari)

  1. Open infusionfox.com in Safari. Chrome and Firefox on iOS won't let you do this; Apple restricts the feature to Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button (the square with the up arrow, usually at the bottom of the screen).
  3. Scroll the share sheet down to find Add to Home Screen. Tap it.
  4. Tap Add in the top-right corner of the screen that appears.

InfusionFox now lives on your home screen. Tap the icon to open it like any other app.

On Android (Chrome)

  1. Open infusionfox.com in Chrome.
  2. Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of the browser.
  3. Tap Add to Home Screen or Install app; the wording varies by Android and Chrome version.
  4. Confirm by tapping Add or Install.

InfusionFox now lives in your app drawer and, depending on your launcher, on your home screen.

On Android (Firefox or other browsers)

Other browsers may or may not support the install flow. Chrome is the easiest path. If you prefer another browser, look in the browser's menu for an Install or Add to Home Screen option.

On desktop (Chrome, Edge, Safari on Mac)

  1. Open infusionfox.com in your browser.
  2. Look for an install icon in the address bar (a small computer-with-arrow or plus icon, usually on the right side of the URL).
  3. Click it and confirm.

InfusionFox opens in its own window, like a native desktop app.

Troubleshooting

The Add to Home Screen button is missing on iPhone. You're not using Safari. Open the site in Safari specifically; Apple only allows this from their browser.

The icon shows a generic globe instead of the InfusionFox drop. Your browser cached an old version. Delete the home-screen icon, close and reopen Safari, then add it again.

It won't work offline. Visit the pages you want to use offline at least once while connected. They'll be cached and available later.
